Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Margot Wenger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is currently working with adults but has an extensive history of working with children and their families. Margot works with a range of challenges such as grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, exploring identity, LGBTQ, parenting challenges, ADHD, depression, anxiety, stress, coping with health changes, meaning and purpose, and finding community.
Margot employs a variety of therapeutic techniques and models including strengths and needs, CBT - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, supportive psychotherapy, narrative and trauma-informed therapies as well as psycho- spiritual models for grief and loss. Margot understands that the therapeutic relationship is key to therapy working. She strongly believes most people know what direction they need to go to feel better or resolve their concerns, but guidance, information, skills, and encouragement can be provided by a therapist.
Margot earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and practices as a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. She has over 20 years of experience. Margot understands there are many paths to healing but is also supports clients to obtain medication consultations at this clinic as needed.
