Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Julia Rhodes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Master’s Degree in social work through the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has experience working with adults both in outpatient and inpatient settings for a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and suicidal thoughts.
Julia hopes to work collaboratively with patients to help them identify and accomplish their treatment goals. Everyone struggles with different things in their life. Therapy allows people to get help, and have someone support, guide, and assist them in the process. It allows people to take control of their life in a new way, and build the tools needed to face whatever is next. She believes it is important to keep any judgment out of her work, and rather focuses on how to make others feel valued and safe so that they feel comfortable enough to engage in therapy, and to be who they are.
Julia utilizes a strength-based approach in therapy that integrates other techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), brief therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
