Margot Wenger, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Margot Wenger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with kids age 7 to adults managing various challenges. Some of these are grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, exploring identity, LGBTQ, parenting challenges (ADHD and other), depression and anxiety, stress, coping with health changes, meaning and purpose, and finding community.

Margot employs a variety of therapeutic techniques and models including strengths and needs, CBT - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, supportive psychotherapy, narrative and trauma-informed therapies as well as psycho-spiritual models for grief and loss. The therapeutic relationship is key to therapy working. She also strongly believes most people know what direction they need to go to feel better or resolve their concerns, but guidance, information, skills, and encouragement can be provided by a therapist.

Margot earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and practices as a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. She supports clients exploring medication consults as needed.
